‘The Beltie’ Bar & Grill at Lordstones is a brand new, family friendly & casual restaurant open to all.

We have a selection of small, sharing dishes, deli-fresh lighter meals & our house favourites.

All our menu is locally sourced, using fresh ingredients & caters for all tastes – even if you want a snack to enjoy with a drink on our terrace.

Our Belted Galloway Beef is one example of the finest quality, grass fed beef & reared on the surrounding moorland. This ‘Beltie’ beef grazes here in Bilsdale & produces a depth of flavour, natural marbling & is high both in omega-3 & is unique to Lordstones.

Our bespoke ‘JOSPER’ charcoal oven has been specifically imported from Spain, is the only one of its kind in North Yorkshire. It is globally recognised as being fantastic in its method of searing and cooking both meat and fish. The Josper is an enclosed, purely charcoal fueled oven, its secret to beautiful food is that it retains all its moisture and succulence.
