Our Belted Galloway Beef is supplied by the neighbouring farm at Urra Estate and it is widely acknowledged that this dry aged, purely grass fed beef creates amazing, natural marbling and flavour. The beef is prepared on site, ensuring no food miles, local provenance and exclusivity of product in our ‘Bilsdale Beltie’ beef.
Our bespoke ‘JOSPER’ charcoal oven has been specifically imported from Spain, is the only one of its kind in North Yorkshire. It is globally recognised as being fantastic in its method of searing and cooking both meat and fish. The Josper is an enclosed, purely charcoal fueled oven, its secret to beautiful food is that retains all its moisture and succulence.
